Looks great Chris, I wish I could find Zoo's like that locally around here. Our local guy (not one of the LFS's) wants a fortune for his Zoo's as he seems to think that they are gold or something.

That's a good idea. Keep pushing for that! I really like this lens, it was the first on I bought for the camera other than the crummy package lens.

In the past, TRT has put out a calendar each year. There's a section of the gallery that users can upload pictures to. I may have to add a couple of these!

Usually, no flash and a tripod. drive the ISO as low as you can, then goof off with the aperture. I'm not great with the camera, but I handle myself well enough.

I've seen that before too, but I never jump on any of those "deals." I got all these in trades, so I've never spent a penny on zoas. They don't grow real fast in my tank, though, as I think they prefer a little more waste in the water. I really have to shield them well to get decent growth, any that are exposed to direct light seem to shrink.

Well I finally made it through this thread and I must say you have the touch my friend!
I may have gotten confused as I plodded through, but you said you have a Zebra jaw fish in a post about your fish stock, but it appears that your tank is bare bottom. Jaw fishes generally require 4-6" of sand. Did I miss something?

This is indeed a limpet. I had two of them in my tank for a long time until they disappeared and I found a predatory whelk as the culprit.
Your photography skills are exceptional and it makes reading your thread pleasant and keeps the readers attention. Great job on the build and all the growth! You all know how to roll in Houston, too bad you can't produce a good president! (Oh, I'm so bad!)

I have a zebra dartfish ( Ptereleotris zebra. is that the same as a jawfish?), and it seems to do fine without sand. Eats well, gets along with tankmates, and darts to a small little hole in the rockwork when it dives for cover.
But thanks for the kind words! And from you, too, Becky!
