Beautiful tank, I love all the color in your SPS's.
I was a little surprised that you're able to run your penductors off of a SQWD. I thought I'd read that the SQWDs couldn't handle the back pressure of eductors/penductors, or did I get that wrong?

I heard that the Tank of the Month winner has to frag out corals for everyone who aspires to become as great a reef-keeper. Is this true? Or just another nasty rumor I started?

Awesome Tank Joefish. You need to come down, and help me go starboard. I love that clean look. It looks like there isn't any water in the tank, like the fish are suspended in air. You have done a great job,I tip my hat to you sir. I think you should do everything you can to keep the set up. Write a book,we can all learn from you. Ted

Thanks ted , I wish I could take all the credit but I had lots of help from people here . All the angles of a good tank are here on TRT , you just have to figure out wich one works best for you .
Now here's a pic that isn't that different from what you have already seen , But I love the way it came out .

Joe, I really like the corals in your tank, but where I derive the most benefit from TOTM is in the setups. I really liked your idea of a tap off the return for the calcium reactor. Put a valve to isolate in case I want to take the reactor out of service without shutting down the return. I had a small pump in my sump supplying the reactor but it heated the water, made noise, and used juice. All for a few drops per second of flow out the reactor. I've incorporated your idea now. On my skimmer pump in the back I've tapped off the discharge to do water changes. The hose reaches to my kitchen sink and down the drain the waste water goes!
