lets start at the beginning.
this is a pic of van after right before unloading at the house. this is 350' worth of 2" PVC and more connectors than you can shake a stick at. this was a true "Geoff" project. this means i bought out a major store of all of its stock of something. theses stores have to be in the Wal-mart, HD, or Lowe's class. the Lowe's in Apex does not have any 2" valves, 2" Unions, or no 2" true unions. BTW-this represents nearly $500 in PVC!! the good news is, nearly all of it is going back.
here is a pic of all of the PVC in the basement getting ready for the big day.
this is us double checking that Geoff actually has a feasable plan. at this point Tom decides that Geoff has been having to many Guiness's lately. you want to run how many 2" runs across the house!! well, 7, why is that a lot.

needless to say the number was quickly knocked down to 2. only the sump drain and return will be plumbed all the way across the house. the ampmaster will just be in the crawlspace. Tom insures me that i will only have to touch this amp once every 3 years, if he is wrong than he has another 2 plumbing runs to help me with. for those wondering. that is me (Geoff) standing up on the mantle. Tom (tdwyatt) standing on the ladder writing all over my mantle. ohh, i need to get a pic of that later. Zac (gitsompottery) is on the picnic bench.
here is the ubiquitous booty shot.

this is all of the 2" PVC needed to make the two sump runs. can you guess whose bumm that is.
Zac is in the crawlspace. if you look in the background you can see the far wall where the plumbing for the SWSH (Tom has named it the SaltWater SuperHighway) begins. those
floor joists are on 24" spaceing so we had plenty of room to work with when running the pipes.
Tom is priming away here on the first run of PVC. i think i got the wrong connectors, so we could not connect first than install in place. we had to install on the go with these connectors. they were shorter than the others, but this is what the guy showed me when i asked if they had contractor packs. they did work fine, prolly just not the best choice.
here is the SWSH installed the drain on the left and the return on the right. they are tied up along the runs with straps. they are also resting on some house joists. we had 20" of drop to work with. it was pretty close, but Tom seemed confident. that is good enough for me.
i was not able to get a pic of the glasses of Guiness, but i think you all know what those look like. all in all i think it went guite well. i get to return 250' of extra piping! that is hefty chuck of change right there. i can also return a lot of those expensive big valves. Nikki will be happy about that. that means she gets to spend more money on rugs and towel hangers.
Ohh, Cath, Tom has a present from me to you. it should help your system out.
