The future of tank lighting....
I just read an article about a grad student at Vanderbilt University who accidentally has discovered a new light source that is predicted to make light bulbs extinct. Its LED lighting but it can now emit a white glow, as opposed to red, yellow and green. It gives off no heat, and is expected to reduce energy consumption in the U.S. by 29%. This sounds like a terrific alternative to Metal Halides and the like...especially the "no heat" aspect! Stay tuned....
