The Full Monti
Seems like we're always asking for everyone to "Show Us Your (Insert Coral Name Here)!" so how's about Montipora. Mine are threatening to take over my tank. Now I know why there's a "Bigger Tank Syndrome"!
My photo skills are suffering, and I'm told the only cure is taking pics, we'll see.
Here's my "Montipora whateveracornis" bought for it's sexy shape, but now twirling in the current and it's edges are turning purple (can't really see it in the shot)

Nice piece!
Hope mine looks like that someday, mine's still all tiny compared to that beast!

Looks like a great piece and a very nice shot. How old is it. What are you feeding the tank? What lights are you running?

Piece is 2 years old, lighting is 2-140 VHO (10KK and actinic) and 3-250W 10KK DE MH (don't you love the secret code) I feed "blender mush" once a day which does have some cylop-eeze in it. My skimmer is a MRC-1 with an Iwaki 55 on it, and an MRC-1 reactor with kalk topoff. It's shape is largely due to being mounted at the confluence of two Mag 18's with Geoff eductors. It's a tornado in that spot!
