The first life
Checked the parameters today...0 ammonia, 0 nitrite 0 nitrate
I am guessing all the diatom sucked up all the nitrate in the tank, b/c I did nothing else other then skim to get rid of it.
After cleaning all the equipment and glass and a water change.
Picked up 6 astraea (or trochus) other then coloring how do you tell them apart the LFS girl wasn't sure, but of the 4 in the area they were the only ones with any diatom eating snails (looked for nerite also).
Going to that fishplace sunday (this weekend is a 20% off livestock sale) to get the rest of the inverts.
