garsh....thanks!

TRT is a great place because of folks like you! There are many helpers here. Nice folks who either have the answer, or try to help you find it. And sometimes it's just friendly support.

TRT is very much part of my family

And thank you, Aussie & everyone!

I've been around the reef boards for many years now and from the very beginning, TRT has been the friendliest place on the 'net for reefers to get quality information, share experiences, and enjoy our hobby together.

Your thoughts are much appreciated,

Dick

On behalf of the staff let me(us) THANK YOU, it's all of you people that make this board the place that it is. This board is the great friendly place it is because those of you that call it home or spend alot of time here make it that way by example.
We are a diverse lot from all over, driven by our love of reeftanks, but over time we have become friends way beyond just the hobby aspect. Having done this job on a few other boards I gotta tell ya, it's pretty easy here because you all are great

I have to say That it is the staff that has to thank each of you that ask the questions and provide the bulk of the comments on thread, both in agreement and in contrast when discussions bloom on TRT. Without the growing numbers of folks that contribute both questions (and comments) and answers, there would be no need for such a forum.

It is my absolute honor to provide what little I know of the hobby to help people from hving to make the same mistakes and go through the trials and tribulations of learning the husbandry of closed reef systems as I did in the 80's. My hat is off to each and every one of you.

Thanks for the comments, it's good to know that what we write helps others, even more so as I see folks learn to apply the knowledge and begin to help others as well.

Well, Like the others have already said, It's fun and "easy" because the folks here on TRT make it that way!
Can't remember "how" i found TRT, but i think it was around the time of my recovery from spinal fusion surgery,,,mebbe b4,,OFR,,,,
I think over time , i was asked to be "Super-Mod". likely to make it easier to keep a eye on me,,,,
I like the atmosphere here at TRT, and hope i help convey that feeling back,,
The old: "I'll treat you , like I want to be treated" theory,,,,i think it works
Who else has a "good mornin' and birthday thread?,,,,Prob only here, cuz it works here!
Thanks Aussie (and everyone elses)for the kind words,,,
pssssst: i think we thank Aussie for the kind words, by having the TRT picnic at his casa! Talk about a road trip! LOL

If that's the case Tom,,,,i just want a little money,,,,,
Do I have to tell what the "heavy hitters" in the hobby/industry, had to say about you? How is , that a lot of the big names, know you?(and think so highly of you?)
Thanks Tom, for all your input here at TRT, it has meant a LOT to a lot of us out here!

I must agree with everyone! My tank is the only sanity I have at this time. I work a huge amount of hours (seems like more) and this is my only escape. If it wasnt for the atmosphere here (been to some of the other boards) I probably wouldnt have stuck with or even attempted all of this. All of the people here are exceptional and the Mods are a wealth of info...But of course thats all been said, I just wanted to agree and jump on the band wagon!!!!!
