thank you

Well the fuge is running there are a little micro bubbles at the feed end. This is because i tapped into the 2'' return to the sump with a (y) and then took it down to 1'' with a ball valve to cut the flow back. Next questions, 1) the returns from the fuge dump into the sump but not into the twin 20'' bag filters, they are set up so i can run them to the bags if needed. I did not know if the bag filters would take out any good stuff that will come from the fuge. 2) should i light it 24 hrs a day or run oposite from the 125 up stairs maybe 12 hrs. I read some place that lights on plants make o2 lights off they use the o2 any input?

as always you all have been a help to this novice' now i am up to 125 upstairs / 180 gallon sump with about 150 in it, and now a 90 gallon refugium, my wife thinks i am nuts, i need to hide the hammers.
thank you "wtrguy"

your welcome i quess?

1.
no the water from the fuge does not need to have it run through your bags. if any pods might work their way to the mian display they would be caught in the bags.
2.
running a reverse is good. refuge come on when the main display goes out.

oh and good luck hiding the hammers.. they are sooooooo cheap now a days you will just buy 3-4 to make sure you have one!hahaha

reverse lighting on a fuge only works if there is somekind of macro algae in the fuge.
