Payday is a week off for me. But it is time for my daughter gets to visit for the weekend. Havent gotten to talk to her since the last time she came over, two weeks ago. Kinda use to it now, the mom doesn't incourage comunication between her and I. Being that my daughter is only 6 years old it's not like she can just pick up the phone and call me yet. I know some kids can but again the mom hasn't tought that to Elizabeth yet.

Either way i have some time with her and I make the best of it as much as I can. The wife, both kids and I have plans to go to the state fair this weekend. both Saturday and Sunday.

A trip to the doctor for me this morning. One of these days I'm going to feel better.

FishGirl's birthday present finally arrived so she'll get to celebrate again, just a week late. The camera I bought for her wouldn't cut it after some testing so I'm sending it back (she never saw that one) and FedEX brought the replacement last night. She hasn't a clue about it so it will be a big surprise after school.

What's Black & Blue all over? A Dark Morph Swallowtail, of course! The sunlight really brings that iridescent blue out on their seemingly black wings.

thats a beautiful pic.. i wish i could take pictures like that.. again .. wow..

hopefully this will be a good weekend. work tonight and off saturday and sunday.. reef meeting saturday.. help my father and brother move sunday.. get some stuff done around the house and vegg... lol..

someplace in all this i would like to spend some time with my kids. don't get much time during the week .. (maybe i can get them to help me clean up the apartment.. lol.. )

Not all the time. Most of the time i just get the voice mail. never returns my calls. She says that i can only call between 5pm and 8pm. course Elizabeth gets out of school at 3pm. Grandma picks her up from school and they have blocked my number at the grandmas home. My lawyer already knows about the block and he is working on it. And she tells me that i dont call enough. When I do call I always get the voice mail. She tells me that i call when they are busy. OK I'm d*#&ed if I do and I'm d*#&ed if I don't. I have told her, so that I don't leave like twenty messages, why doesn't she call me when they are not busy. You can't be busy all the time. All it takes is five minutes to call dad and say hi. or just asnwer the phone and let the child speak to her father.

Sorry I just realized that I am ranting again. sorry guys.

You're entitled to a little rant on that, Chris. Your lawyer has probably already suggested it but you might keep a log of the times you have tried to call. (Just saw that Tim suggested the same thing....good advice) Keep the high road and all that phone blocking stuff will work against her in the end. Main thing is you're trying. Savor those times spent with your kids.

Tim, the camera is just one more thing that she'll be able to do better than me.
