Good mawnin', George, Chris, Dancing, Jeff, Patrick, Awol, Tony, stillman, John, Tim, Butch, and all of TRT!
Thanks for that coffee, George.
Chris - is this the date night at the drive in for you and your wife?
Dancing and stillman - we here in The South understand what you're going through with that heat! Hope you can hold on to some cooler weather for a while.

Crazy, man. It's been since the early 70s since I worked midnight shift, but I understand what you mean What Chris said.

Heya, Patrick. I know you'll brighten up the day, whomever you serve.
Awol - no wonder you're mind has gone AWOL with that schedule.
Tim - how is your bowling arm?
Butch!!!!! Been wondering where you were this week. Did the dog eat your excuse?
By the time I finish this, I know Dick will have posted
The computer system was really nuts yesterday. I'm glad I don't work in IT, having to deal with the database company.
Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Good Morning, Frank, Cath, & Mitchell!
Thanks for the birthday wishes for Mary Elizabeth! I had a recorded message on her favorite radio station this morning which she heard on her way to school. That brought a big smile.
Yes, Cath, this should be her 5th instead of 15th! Where did the 10 years in between go?
Thanks, Tim! Glad you liked the deer girls!

Morning everyone. Cynthia had surgery and will be in the Hospital until Sunday..then a month of recovery. I'll probably sleep on the couch in her room and may not post this weekend.
Not much else going on...buying stuff for a ton of projects to do in between making meals and other parts of being a nurse.
Have a great Friday!!!

Perry, give her my best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Brent, good luck with the 75. Wish I'd started with a 75 instead of this old 55.
Here's a photo of FishDaddy, FishGirl (Blue shirt), and FishGirl's friend Lacy at the fair last night. Another of Mary Elizabeth and Lacy on the Himalaya ride.

Good Friday Morning, TRT! No Friday dance for me today - this cold wants to break me and my head feels like it's going to "essplode."
Happy Birthday to M.E. Dick; time sure flies.
I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the weekend.

LOL , I wish it was only two days behind.
More like when i finish up on Sunday morning after working my 5 midnites inna row, then it is my "weekend" (mon/tues) .Where i work it's 24/7 ,and day is just a day, no off weekends, or off holidays(if you work shiftwork, like me) And my schedule shifts back one day every 4 weeks i think, to allow for smooth transitions for all the shift turns.
So i don't "see" weekends like those 9 to 5'ers ,that work mon-fri, that have stuff like they say are holidays, off.
I know my work schedule for the calendar year , in Dec of the prev year, so i know what i'm working the whole year, and what day(s) i'm off. So right now my "monday" is gonna be Weds of next week, and when i finish up those 5 day shifts, on Sunday, that will be my friday,,
So there's the short version Really ! LOL
And my wife still can't understand when she asks what day i start my midnite stretch, when i tell her (example): "Monday for Tuesday midnites" .Meaning i leave for work at 8:30pm Mon, i start work at 10 pmMon nite, for what is first turn Tuesday. She says: you go out to work monday then ? i say ,yup , for Tues,,and she gets all cornfused. 'Cuz when she goes to work Mon evening til Tues morning, it's Tuesday for her, even tho she might start at 7pm.
Ok now that i made everyone's eye's cross ,LOL, I'll leave you with this. DON'T WORK SHIFTWORK!
I've done this for 25+ yrs,and i still hate working my day shifts when they come around every three weeks
Even better, for prob the last 15 yrs, i have not slept during the week i work midnites so i'm pretty much up for a week, every three weeks,,I'm gonna miss those extra 10 yrs of life i prob woulda had,,if not for shiftwork.
Time for chores, i'll leave you all rubbing your heads after reading this post,,,,
