tetra tec UV5 and filstar2

If anyone is interested in taking these off my hands feel free to send me a pm and we can work out more then fair prices. The Filstar2 has been on system for 5 months and the UV5 for about 3 1/2 months. The Filstar2 has a cracked return tube but my LFS is going to replace it, not sure there is a demand for a canister filter but better to sell for something then sit for nothing

pm me if interested, thanks

Hey Jim I have the use of someones Magnum 350, its handy for occasional cleaning chores, and sucking out excess algae , cyano, etc

Hello Doug,

I still am in the process of building my refug setup and I figure if my nitrates are way off the charts I figure a good source of my problems were from the canister. I was only doing monthly maintenance on the canister and to be honest that thing is a bit of a pain in the ars to do weekly cleanings. Ive got power heads, bakpak, and a whisper2 for my filtration and things look good in the tank. I am doing a 5g change weekly to see if I can get this nitrates down. I check my ammonia and nitrite today. My canister has been off for a week so I wanted to check them lvl's to see if I had a change, to be honest I think my ammonia reading is better ammonia and nitrite at 0. I figure with power heads and filter I am turning about 412 gph, I hope that should be efficient.
