Thanks, all,
the item in question is a whole piece of shrimp that was bait in a manits trap for a week.
The trap didn't work, so I left the shrimp in the tank to help it cycle.
The Pic was taken about a month after I set the tank up.
The rocks came from www.Paragonsales.com I drove up and hand picked the rocks because I knew I wanted two nice pieces.
