Thanks Viv, the Maxima is not the clam in the picture, that one is a Gigas I am saving for a friend (for the last 8 months and 3 inches of growth) she was just asking what ever happened to the Maxima.

Thanks Casey, I am supprized more people don't have Gigas honistally, especially because they are lower light, easer to keep clams. It must be because of that pesky four foot thing.

No kidding, could you immagine a 4 foot Gigas? That's four feet long, it would also be about three feet tall, and probably open 2 foot, it's pratically a bed!

I've seen a pic of a diver hovering over a Gigas almost as big as he is, but I can't remember where it was now.
