Small, meaty foods once or twice a week is what I would do.

Keep feeding every day . If he doesn't want it he'll let it float away but be careful not to pollute your tank with excess food

try feeding it every other day and if it lets go of the fish/food extend the feeding, like feed it today and than 2days from now and if it does not eat try 3 and so on. At least that is what I would do. Looks good tho. hopefully it gets bigger.

+1. Not all pests are ugly. These are sometimes sold as a tulip anemones, you can find them on Ebay being purchased by the unknowing. Like Aiptasia, they will slowly overtake your tank and you will regret ever putting it in your tank. Get rid of it while you can.

well i did a little looking and the majano anemone's have more tenticals and their tenticals have little dimond shapes at the end of them. the one i have just has tenticals around the out side and the tenticals just go to a point with a red tip. i also read that the majano anemons reproduce rapidly like with in a few days so if it dose its gone but for now ill keep it.

thanks much garret

It is 100% a majano anemone. Check the 4th set of photos posted here.

Not all majanos reproduce quickly. I have a flourescent green majano in my frag tank refuge that only splits every month or two. I have personally seen the one that you have get out of control in other peoples tanks.

It would be sweet to run this in its own system. maybe a 2.5 gallon and just let it go crazy and multiply as much as it wants.

They do look colorful but once they get out of hand, they can be hard to erradicate. My green majanos have not spread from the fuge at all and my small Onyx clown is hosting it. You can have one if you want to try it out Fihsboy.
