Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

hmm... maybe once the channel is defined enough you are still getting some bypass. I don't know what else to tell you besides 3 is better than 5

I wouldn't be alarmed by 3 myself unless you are dealing with the most delicate of specimens or using massive amounts of top off water. You coudl theoretically replace the second DI filter and see if that helps.

low pressure can cause membrane to foul resulting in high tds along with chlorine exposure or inadequate carbon filter replacement. depending on what your water pressure is (probly 30psi) most systems are designed to operate at much higher psi helping to keep the membrane clean.

The colder the supply water is the lower the production rate will be. It's not uncommon for the output to drop off in the colder months.

OK what do you guys think. The water with the unit off is still running out of the waste line until I shut the unit down. There is a trickle coming out of the RO/DI line does this mean that the filters are clogged and its bypassing the ro and going right out the waste side.

the water running out of the waste line is normal it's just the pressure built up in the system. and the colder the water the lower the production try a booster pump it will help alot this is the one i use. i have a 150gpd unit and with out the booster pump and depending on water temperature it would take 2 hours to make 5 gallons with the pump it takes an hour.
