tankmates compatible?

I am cycling a 37 gallon tank right now for a small picasso triggerfish. I have a 20 gallon tank with maroon clown and four strip damsel. I am wondering if I could break down my 20 gallon and put the four year old maroon clown (3 inches) and the three year old fourstripe damsel (2 inches) in the tank first to get established, and then add the trigger (if they would most likely get coexist). Anyone got any personal experience, bad or good, keeping this combination of fish together?

i don't see a good combo there. they might make it but the likely result would be fin nipping if not all out feasting by the trigger.

I have a huma and if I miss his feeding tme, well guess what, I pretty bad when my 9 year old has to see nemo kick the bucket from being sick. But when she see's the huma decapitate a chromis and the head and gills still flapping while he finishes off the body is pretty bad. he is going to nail them sooner or later. Its just his nature. And if you have LR he is going to peck at the rock.

hah! yeah, I think I will not mix them then. keep in mind, this is going to be HIS tank, not a reef tank, so he can pick at whatever. but not my maroon and fourstripe.
