Tank transfer timeline...?

Background: I am setting up my 75g tank w/20g sump in my new house very shortly. I'm only in need of a few plumbing parts, but I should be able to have it running in the next few days. I currently have a 46g bowfront w/a few corals and inverts (no fish) and 50lbs of LR. I have to have the 46g moved no later than June 30th. I would like to move everything from the 46g in the apartment and right into the 75g in the house the same day. I will be setting up a new sandbed in the 75g in the process (but I'm not sure how just yet).

(1) Add the (non-live)sand and fill tank with fresh water (1 day)
(2) Slowly add salt to desired SG and slowly bring up temp (2 days)
(3) Add some sort of Live Sand or something to jump start the DSB (? days)
(4) Add LR and base rock to build aquascape (1 day)
(5) turn on lights and skimmer (? days)
(6) bring over inhabitants and acclimate to new tank. (1 day)

This whole thing will take days, but I don't know how many. I just want to do it right without having a HUGE cycle that kills everything in the first week. What would you guys recommend? I have been super busy with work and trying to finish the 'pre-move in honey-do list' on the house, so this tank thing is more than my head can compute at the moment.

Thanks for your help!
Brian

If it's at all possible, try to get the 75 up and running soon as possible. So you can put the sand in it.

I just recently moved into my new place and set up a 75 from my previous 20 and it took 3 days for the sand to settle.
The rock and critters are easy, and doable in one part of a day, but its getting the salinity right and the sand settled which takes time.

stir in the salt before you add the water to the tank. try to grab as much water from your old tank as you can to avoid the whole cycle again. I would do everything but add the livestock in 1 day. then you have more time to let the tank settle before you add your babies.
