tank safe paint ?
so here's my next question...
since i can only seem to find white PVC parts... is there a paint that i can use to paint all visible pieces inside the tank black ? without any risk of poisoning/contaminating the water ?
thanks!
J.

I dont know of any,but you can paint it with the purple PVC primer and let it dry looks like coraline algae.

it gets covered in coralline within a few months anyway and to be honest, i think etching it with the primer makes the coralline grow over it even faster than it would by painting it or leaving it white.
just something to consider, : )

Krylon Fusion will work. i have used it many times on plastic parts that i have put in the tank. make sure it cures completely though before putting it in there though.

most of the time the black PVC is not PVC but ABS. it just requires different adhesives cutting techniques.
