Tank redone (pics)


Well I posted these in the BB section but I wasnt sure all of you even go there so I'm posting them here too.Hope ya like them,they arent that clear but they are pics though.In short I went from SSB to BB and cooked the L/R for almost 6 weeks.







Its an All Glass 75 gallon non reef ready with 5 Aquaclear 70 p/heads,Seaclone (crap)skimmer,Ehiem cannister filter with nothing in it but floss and a sponge,250 watt heater and a 48" Aquamedic combo light with two 250 watt 20,000 K M/H's and two blue actinic T-5 florecents for lighting.

RBTA stands for rose bubble tip anemone. Sorry about that.

Okay then the answer would be YES It had beautifull bubble tips when I bought it but my Maroon Clown trys to burrow into it in the evening time when the lights start to cycle off and it starts to shrink up to expell the days water from its body.I think he is damaging the tips by doing this because they are all deformed looking now .They have a great symbiotic relationship though

The flow deflectors are pretty cool however sometimes you have to take them apart and soak them in hot water to clean them.They sometimes stop turning from junk cought inside the gears.

Very nice tank!! How about some MORE shots...maybe close ups of the corals!!! ;-)

btw...instead of soaking in hot water...try regular water, and a good bit of white vinegar! You'll be amazed how much quicker cleaning parts goes with a little vinegar!!
