tank raised seahorses?

So they have them at my Petco and I darned near bought one... but $60 for something with no warrently at all is too much of a risk for me. I was told that they were much hardier than wild caught... of course this is the same guy who told me that my scooter blenny was a scavengar. He also told me that I'd have to get rid of my zoo's and polups cuz they can sting the seahorse, is that true?

I have had them in a reef tank before with no problem, I think they can get hurt with corals, Just never happen to me, also I think the best way to to get tank raised and have a tank set up for them and nothing else but some live rock and macroalgae and somethings for them to grab onto. and I don't think I would do only one but a few. I have a tank set up now for them but don't have them yet.

Only coral like anenomes and LPS's are a real problem for seahorses. I wouldn't buy them from Petco because they don't have a clue and i wouldn't be willing to trust the health of the critter. I have one in an sps dominated tank and he loves it.

The only thing my Petco is good at is killing fish. They just got a new guy working for them and he sounds like he knows a thing or two, so thats good.
