Tank pics and Gorgonian problem

Here are a couple pictures of my 180 reef. I have also attached a picture of my encrusting gorg that has a problem on the end that I am not sure how to cure. A few weeks ago I cut off this end in hopes of stopping the spread of what ever this is, but it has reapeared. Anyone know what this might be?

Steve,
this time when you cut it off, seal it with Super Glue (regular not gel).

Great tank!

Steve,
It could be bacterial, viral, some sort of tode eating it. The black sounds like rot though. Cut it back into the good meat, pat it dry, and seal it this time.
How's the other end doing? Opening up good? Any signs of growth?

Jerel, the other end is fine, even right up to this bad part the polyps are fully extended. The picture shows this area as black but in fact it is a brown with white just below it.
