Tank not level, what to do

I'm putting in a new tank in the wall. After putting it in place I noticed that its not level. On the front, it's up by about 1/16" on each side, the middle is flat.Should I put a piece of foam under the tank or maybe some shims, or will it be OK? Its a glass tank 54" long by 30" tall.It was half full of water before I noticed it wasn't level.Any help would be appreciated.

Shim under the stand only. Don't shim under the tank. Foam will not help.

i would agree, the weight of the water even just a little off could crack the tank or atleast give added stress.
is the opening square? or are you justing a stand or just a hole in the wall?.

Thanks Greg & Tims, The tank is resting on the wall in the front. We built a stand for the back of the tank and layed down a piece of plywood to bridge them together. So we cant shim the stand under the front I'll try and shim the stand from the back, maybe that will help up front.
