Well, I am happy to say that the tank move went great! Had a couple of funny/scary moments during the move, but it all worked out... well almost.
My first concern is my BTA. He was attached to a huge rock (20+ lbs) so the BTA and the gold stripe went together in a styro box. They made the move just fine, finally got them in the tank, and they looked as happy as ever. Well, I woke up today and somehow the BTA crawled into a crevice in the rock. Normally it is about a baseball size. There are two holes where he crawled in about dime size. Could he have worked his way into a space that small? Not sure how large the space inside the rock is. Now it is poking out both little holes with a bridge of rock seperating covering the mouth. Should I chip this piece out? Any suggestions? I need help on this one please!!
Also, quick electrical question. At the old house I had to close the
ball valve on the drain hoses a touch so the pump could keep up. At this house it is opposite. I have the drains wide open and they can't keep up with the pump now. Could the pump be running faster (more current?) at the new house? Would that mean my lights run brighter, and powerheads even?
Besides that, nothing major. My cat decided walk under my feet as we were coming out the front door carrying the tank. That could have been bad! I 'misplaced' one of my
hippo tangs for about 2 hours. Finally found him setting the tank up. Put the sand in, then put the first hunk of rock in and there it was. Flipped right out of the first rock I put in the tank!! Got to do a cleaning of my tank! Rewire the lights. Went much better than the nightmares I was having the previous week!!
If anyone has an idea to get my BTA out of his crawlspace, please let me know!! Thanks!!

PS - I will post some pics of the new deeper sand bed and reworked rock scape. Well, whenever I find the cable for the camera anyways!! Still unpacking everything!
