It appears that come good coralline growth has occurred during the purging process!

Thanks all.

Some of the corlaine survivied as well as some of sponges. I had thought I chipped off all the mushrooms but I found one last night. I will have to perform surgery later.

I have to go out and get some snails this evening to keep everything clean. I am not planning on adding fish for another month or 2 so the tank should stay clean.

I am going to continue to use the Kalk reacotr for all top off and B-Ionic to get the CA a little higher. If everything goes well after a few months I will get a CA reactor.

congrats! Glad to see your tank again! That purging takes time but it does a great job, huh. I had to do the same. Feels good when you get your tank back online again. I wish the best of luck to you this time around!

Well, I got home and I think it is over. Almost every rock has hair algae all over them. A yellow acro is about dead.

I tested for PO4 adn Nitrate and both read 0 as usual. The snails I added to the tank are on the glass or the bottom and not on the rock.

So cooking apparently does not cure/clean the rocks all the time. Or my 0 TDS that tests 0 for PO4, Silicates and nitrates. I should have gotten new LR.

I will think about this tonight but I think its tome to get out of reefing.
