Tank drilling advice needed

Here is a diagram of the holes that I am going to drill on my 90 gallon tank. The top holes are 4 inches down from the top edge and are for 1 inch bulkheads and the bottom set of holes are 1 foot up and 1 foot in from the edge of the tank. I think the top holes are fine but do you think drilling the two holes in the middle of the back will weaken the glass too much?? Thanks for the help guys.

Mind if I ask why you are drilling the 2 in the middle? Yeah the top ones should be fine and you are probably right to be worried about the ones in the middle, especially if a small crack get started at the edge since there is more stress on that point then a hole near the top.

They are outputs for the closed loop system, I am going to extend them into the live rock pile.

Ahhh, got ya, you just dont want to see the pipes in the back. Again, I assume with the right bit and all it would be fine, only problem would come in if a flaw develops, which will eventually grow into a crack if it is too big.

All the 90gs I looked at were thick enough not ot be a prob, if it was 1/4 or 5/16 glass then but the 3/8 or typical should be OK , assuming the hole is properly drilled, coolant used during drilling , etc
