Tang with Problems in new reef tank.

Hello Everyone,

I have a 55 gallon (long tank) . I have pleny of live rock and colors are starting to grow. I have my water tested last week and everything was 0. I was happy. I also added coral (mushrooms) and that is growing great and spreading little babies (look like chicken pops, LOL). I have also used biozyme, Kent-Essential Elements, and Stress Zyme in the tank. I have follwed the directions completly. But as I said before everything looks fine.

Except for this yellow tang that has light red marks on his head and also he is turn light yellow around his head. He is still eating and swiming around the tank. He also plays with the other small tang and he constantly plays with my peppermint shrimp. Doesnt seem bad but I am concerned.

PLEASE HELP.

Ya im positive this tang has HLLE,head and lateral line erosion. My scopas has it too. Its not fatal , and can be reverced. I need to know what you have been feeding him and what kind of lighting you have in order to help you.

Well I researched the disease you are talking about and you are right. Now I need to find out what to do. I have been feed my fish 3 things, Brine Shrimp, Seaweeds Selects, Tetra Min Pro(tropical Crisps). As a matter of fact I just gave my tangs some selects. They love it and demolish it instantly. I think my water is fine and I am about to get it tested now. Please help!!!
