Tang trouble

hope someone can help. Last night all was fine. This morning I saw my hippo tang a mess. Its left eye, gill, and pectoral fin look to be marred really bad. Possibly got stuck in the rocks and had to fight back out. Will it heal? anyone see this? still active but won't use the injured fin and the eye looks bad

Leave and monitor if you know nothing in the tank attacked it.

I would not remove from the tank as the move may put the tang right into a death-spiral...too much stress, has to adjust to new environment, new water parimeters, etc, etc

Go to a LFS and see if they have a TANK-DIVIDER that will work for your tank. Quarantine in the same tank using the divider is your best solution.

Move a portion your LR if you need to

it used both pectorals during feeding and seemed to find food from both eyes. I am nearly convinced that the little yellow is up to no good. several months of harmony and this... I hope the hippo can heal, but if I might need to remove one?
