Question

tang trouble?

ok here is the deal I have a yellow tang that is just demolishing my DSB. he has hollowed out 6 places in the tank all the way down to bare tank ( with a little bit if help from the saddle back clown). they just get right beside each other and just start to jiggle and shake ( kinda like a dance) and in just a couple of minutes they are all the way down to the bottom of the tank and move to a new section and start over.. refilling the holes do no good. within a few minutes they are right back at in the same place and redo it back to there satisfaction.

what might their deal be they dont seemto be looking for food. when they are done they just simply move on to the next area.

any ideas??
thanks
Mike

Hi Mike! That seems strange with a yellow tang doing that! I have had tangs in the past with no such problems! However I do have a large female maroon clownfish that loves to re-arrange the DSB alot. But I believe she is looking for any critters she may uncover from her antics! Johnny

it is odd because all the holes after filled up they redig the same exact holes in the same places. I guess its just one of those things that are unexplainable..

thanks
Mike
