how do i keep my two damselfish from attacking my new blue regal tang?

I say get rid og the two damsels, they are mean fish as they grow and if they have been able to rule the tank, They will be agressive towards new tankmates. They may let it alone if it will defend itself.

yep. Only way is to get rid of them.

If it were any other kind of fish, I'd say rearrange your rock...this resets everyone's territory. BUt with Damsels, I don't think it'll make a difference. Damsels are just MEAN SOB's!!!

This...this right here, is why we dont' recommend cycling your tank with a damsel.

Re-arranging the rock will only buy a few hours' time. Damsels will establish their new territory quickly and then attack the poor tang again. Damsels are fine alone but I wouldn't ever put them in a "community" reef any more - they are too mean and as they get older/bigger, they get worse!
