Taking out tonga branches


Ok I have roughly 130 lbs of lr some is branches

which I can't really do much with and don't look pretty
my question Is can I remove some will it hurt my system
as far as the bacteria.

If its not a big amount it should affect much. I did the same thing as you, I just couldn't get into the look of the tonga branch. For some people it works, but in my tank it just didn't look appealing.

I think it should be fine. I replaced mine with more cured rock. As long as you're not taking out a HUGE chunk you should be fine.

you could break it up and make it pieces for frags?

but taking out a little wont hurt anything
