Your getting micro bubbles because its a coralife super skimmer. It takes a good 2-3 weeks to break in.....and even after break in.......you will still get microbubbles if something has changed or after dosing. That skimmer is VERY touchy.

yes it did work. im pretty happy with it.
as stated above i used 1"pvc (had to buy a whole 10' pipe ) 1 right angle peice, 1 T conector , and an end cap with a 1/4" hole in the top. (you have to drill the hole)lol
and to tell you the truth i think it makes the tank look a lot more bigger now.

You won't always get microbubbles, I didn't after breakin on mine.
I have no microbubbles after moving it to the sump..
OK, check this out. just did this last night on mine, try it out. Look at your 5th picture.... see that lil grey plastic piece that connects the clear air intake tube to the pump? What I did was break that lil plastic piece off and drill out that hole. I then siliconed that clear plastic intake tube into the now enlarged hole. It lets in better air flow and, I noticed, helps with fine tuning the skimmer.

yes thats the tank with the nem and actually i have 4 PH open and the skimmer pump and filter pump make 6!
they are all far away from the nem and i dont think that the nem will detach its self and start floating around the tank any time soon.
that reminds me i should do an update in my nem thread.

Isn't your skimmer going to overflow when the filter material begins to clog? I would just get some 100 micron filter material and make a couple of small socks. That should cut down or eliminate your bubble problem, and when the sock clogs, it will simply overflow into the tank. It won't put back pressure on the skimmer causing it to overflow. Just a thought.

I can only "Highly" recommend the PH inlets get covered . I can't stress it enough . I just posted on a thread yesterday that the guys nem just up and moved one night . And yes the PH sucked him in . Just letting you know . It can happen and does.
