You put a sand bed in! It looks 100 times better with the sand bed. Too bad you had to take some rock out.

Do you have a sump in there somewhere? What are you using for lighting?

It looks like a very simple set up, something id like to do.

Ya I broke down and put a sandbed in. Mama hated the bare bottom so I checked into it and came to the conclusion that a plenum was the way to go. My sump is on the floor in the stand. My rubermaid tote plan fell through as did the leakin refugium. I ended up with just a AGA 10g for a sump. My skimmer, heater, extra LR and pump are in the sump. As for equipment I have a dual satallite compact florescent fixture with a moon light. Two regeant power heads for water circulation. A CS50 or somesuch overflow and a RIO 12HF submersable pump for a return.

The crazy thing is is that I only had to sump the rubble. I fit all the big pieces in the display. That's close to 45# of rock in the display. Does it look like I have enough realestate for some goodie goodie critters in the near future? I tried to have as much light exposed rock face as possible. I am gonna let the tank settle in for a month or so befor I add anything. Well I may toss in a sand sifting cuke and a ton more snails but that's all for now.
