T5 Question

I have an Icecap 430-008 ballast. Can I run 48 inch T5s with this ballast and if so how many? Will these ballast overdrive the 54 watt bulb? And if so how do I figure the 320 watt max? Thanks

Pulled this straight from IC's website, hope it helps:


The 430 can drive all VHO, PC and T5HO lamps in any combination up to 4 lamps, with a total not exceeding 330 Watts.

**please note: only 2 T5 lamps on a 430 ballast regardless of size or wattage**

But I can only put 2 t5s per 430 ballast, correct?

Correct... according to IceCap. Doesn't matter what wattage the 2 are, you can only run 2 with it.
