T5 distance from surface

How high should the lights be from the surface of the water? My water kinda "spritzes" a little near one of my powerheads and it's been getting a bunch of tiny drops on the bulbs and bulb reflectors. Is this bad?

You probably want the lights about 3-4" from the tank. Can you move the powerhead a little lower?

Mines 4" and yes that's bad the temp of the bulb and the colder temp of the water ,could explode the bulb and it also cuts down the output of the bulbs and also can carode the scockets the bulbs plug into and short out.
