yespriming fittings with puple cleaner and blue glue which you have to use for flex pvc no?

I used it to plumb my sump to my tank in the 75g build. It fits loose and I used barbs and clamps.

I didn't even know you could glue it. This might possibly be the cause of the problems, or else even if you can glue it the coils put a torsion on the connection that may make the gluing part not even.

What is wrong with flex PVC does it leach chemicals in the tank? It is the stuff they use to plumb hot tubs?

I don't think there are any problems and a few folks have used it, but I am not sure if it is better to use glued or with barbed fittings. I used it and treated it like fancy tubing with NPT to barb fittings and it worked out just fine.

Now I have heard that those fittings really reduce flow. I know that you have to use the blue pvc glue for the flex hose because the regular pvc glue will melt the hose.
