I have one on a 125 gallon tank with around 700 GPH going through it. They run slient, but require you to plum it with flexi not PVC...I think it is 3/4" too.
I have noticed that it reduces some of the flow from the pump, but nothing I am worried about. The more water you pump through it the quicker it alternates sides.

Thanks! I didn't wanna spend $40 on a peace of crap. It seems like a good alternative to expensive wavemakers.
