Switched Elec Cut-off Think and give me your feed back
I have a sump room with a chiller, return pumps, UV lights, Calc reactor, Kalk reactor, skimmer...
I am running Elec and was curious, if you could have a switch to cut anything off on your system for maintainance what would it be? I am in a position that anything is possible...

Return pump,.. If I could have only 1 switch, it would be to kill the return pump.

Cool, but the great thing about my new system is I can have as many as I want... Any other ideas?

Why don't you just connect a switch to each outlet? If your wiring it you can just label each outlet so all you have to do is turn that switch off.

If you can have as many as you want give everything switch. A switch is always better then unplugging.....

i would definatly want one for the return pump, one for the skimmer (for cleaning the collection cup)
one switch for all the powerheads is a good idea imo
and one for the lights, just incase there is a bad spill, and you dont want to touch the ends to unplug them, heaters and reactors shouldnt matter, but all the stuff that requires regular maintenance would be good on a switch, all the stuff thats more "plug and play" with occasional maintenance, a switch would be wonderful.
