Sweet UV

I should be getting this UV in the next day or two. I ordered it from my LFS last week. It has the quartz wiper so it hopefully will eliminate the calc buildup.

that is a good sized UV unit!!

you need to use the wiper almost daily to keep the quartz clean. if you make it a habit like checking the skimmer daily it should not be a problem. it is great that it has the wiper though, makes maintenance much easier!!

I have a feeling that the grommet/gasket for that wiper would become a leaking nightmare over time.
