Hi Gregt: I was just asking a friend this past weekend about sweeper tentacles on caulastrea...never seen them before but all polyps had 2" sweepers extended. The mushrooms are moving in and I guess they're going to have some warfare. Anyhow thanks for sharing the info on your caulastrea.
I had to remove lemnalia sp. (spaghetti coral) from my main tank. It was causing too much havoc with neighbouring corals(a drawn out experiment from Eric's class!) ray

Hopefully this will help someone avoid disaster. I've been rather lucky for the most part. Just a couple goofs like this. Why couldn't it have taken out the xenia that's going crazy? LOL

I don't think there is any hope now, still no change from this morning.

My sweeper tentacles were only out for the one dayon the caulastrea. lucky I guess.
