superman monti questions

For all the owners out there, does this monti like a lot of direct light? I bought a small piece from the LFS who claimed this was the superman, but the base seems really bleached out and the polyps are pink.

Any advice to help get the color back would be greatly appreciated!

do not know, but what lighting was it under at the LFS? how long have they had it under that lighting? do they know what lighting it was under before them?

it may just take a bit to get used to the new lighting. if you have very strong lighting you might need to start it low in the tank than move it up as it colours up.

I agree with Geoff, if it is bleached, I would start it low in your tank and acclimate it to your light slowly.

Agree, I bought mine and he lost his blue. Put him 2/3 down in a very well lit tank and he came right back. I will leave him there about 3 days and slowly move him up to 2/3 way up where I want him. It will take me about 2 weeks to get him up there.
