mine works great! takes it a bit to get dialed in, but it sure pulls some good sludge out. i have the 65 on a 46, probably could of gone bigger. but the 65 should do great on your 29.

I just dumped my red sea berlin for a 220 and LOVE it. It's alot better the the red sea! The only problem I found was the micro bubbles so I took it from the tank and put it in my sump. I still have micro bubbles but they dont make it to the tank.

Thats funny patrick how a 150 dollar super skimmer out skims a 300 dollar berlin skimmer. I do dont trust red sea at all, I have had friend have their wavemakers blow up and stuff..... dont use red sea

I have a 65 coralife and I really liked it, I had it on the 20g when it was set up. I have learned to stay away from seaclone... from what I've read here...
clever post title btw!

CSS is a great skimmer for the money......My CSS 65 skims more in one day than my last skimmer in a months time.

I use mine as a HOT because I have to for now, and it works great as a HOT....This is on a 55g tank w/ about 65g volume I believe.

They can be tricky at first when you set it up, but ask ??s here if you run into trouble!

Before I went to a larger skimmer in recent months, I ran a CSS clone on my tank. Exact make, just a different name. All the same, it did well on a 90g/30g sump. To make it even better, I bought a cheap air pump and dropped a stone in the skimmer body (drilled a hole in the lid and just dropped the air line down the main skimmer neck). That nearly doubled my output of skimmate immediately. Made clean-up a little more messy as I had to drag the stone through the dirty neck to remove it, but worth the trouble for sure. $15 upgrade that made a heck of a difference.

In all, they are not a bad purchase and I would say that there are more people using them than will admit. There seems to be an idea that more expensive is better, but that is not always true.

If you need intense skimming for an all-sps tank, then the CSS might not do the trick you need it to. For general skimming though, it is just the right price.
