Good Morning Patrick, Vinnie, and Everyone!!!

Thanx for the coffee Patrick, along with starting the Saturday Thread. I was here a while ago, but have nothing much going on so I didn't want to start it. Glad the twins are doin' fine!

Sunny here, and we're off to the beach again!

I got the parts for my wrecked bike, those go on tonight (Geez, did I even mention Sunday's crash?)

Have a GREAT Weekend!!!

Good Morning, Patrick, Vince, Butch, & All!

Hot and humid after most of the rains have moved on. We had some serious flooding from the last couple of days' storms.

Enjoy the park, Patrick.

Vince, hope having to work doesn't interfere with plans for playtime.

You told us about the broken thumb but left out the important stuff about the damaged bike. Have a great day at the beach.

FishGirl and I are going to Knoxville to spend the day and have lunch at her favorite restaurant. She's very glad to be home.

If you're out driving today, be careful and don't cross the double lines.

Have a Splendid Saturday, Everybody!

Dick

Nice pic and have a great lunch Dick.

Morning TRT!!

Cynthia is going to drive her brother and nephew up to the airport in Denver, and I get left alone to paint. The first coat is about done for all of downstairs then it is going to take another to cover the crappy old paint.

After that is the fun part...putting in the wood floors, tile and redoing the cabinets.

At least we can see daylight now.

Good mawnin', Patrick, Vinnie, Butch, Dick, Perry, George, and all of TRT!

Wow, Patrick! You learned a lot from your Southern upbringing. What a great breakfast. Great news on the twins.

Vinnie - what Dick said. I hope you can get some play time in this weekend.

Nope. Not even a photo. What beach do you go to?

Dick - that photo looks like a road into nowhere. Beautiful foggy scene. Have a great time with FishGirl. I'm looking forward to hearing about her time in Chicago and more photos of her work.

Perry - you're doing all that today?? Yikes, man.

George - now I'm confused. Do I have to look for Doug's thread and merge them?

Hi, HHC! I hope you've gotten some of our rain down there.

This AM I'm going to a friend's house to feed her dogs, then do housework, grocery shopping with Dad and Bobbi, then take some time for reading. Bob is out of town today.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Good Saturday Morning TRT!
Sounds like everyone has a full plate for their Saturday.
Patrick, glad to hear the babies are doing well.
I'm at work and I need to run. Too little to do and too much time. Strike that, reverse it.
Okay here's a test. The last 2 sentences in the previous paragraph are a movie quote. What movie and who said it?
I'll pop back in later with the answer if no one gets it.
Hope y'all have a great day.

Morning all

Was out here earlier this morning, saw that Patrick,Vince and Butch were in the shadows also, so i did not start the morning thread, figgering that myself or someone else would have to merge them if we all did a mass morning post LOL.

Just back from this mornings final spruce up of the FIL 's urn memorial ceremony later today. Watered down the plants old and new, and cleaned up around the edges one last time. It's a small old Lutheran cemetary, lots of VERY old headstones there, the oldest i could barely make out were ending in the late 1870's (i think, very hard to make out w/out doing a tracing of the impressions)

Tom will finally get to be with his beloved Phyllis again, and thats a good thing .

Having a celebration of Tom's life at the church this afternoon, with placing of the urn afterwards. Blyth is hanging in there best as possible, but i'm sure her and her sisters will be emotional as expected during all this finality. I'm doing what i can to comfort her, and the work i did on the gravesite is only a very small thing for me to help out with. (I plan on surprising Blyth later by getting all the plantings there extra vibrant and beautiful within the next few weeks )

Was treated to the sighting this morning of a family of wild turkeys out taking their close to a dozen baby turkeys out for a AM brunch in one of the fields in view from our kitchen bay window.
Of course we could not get all that close, the minute we went outside w/ the vid camera, mom and pop hurried the babies to cover. But we got to see them make it very close proximity for our viewing pleasure (Just wish i had a camera permanantly attached to my neck like Dick does LOL) Was a nice start to the day around here plus the sighting in open area points to coyotes being less of a issue the last few yrs, compared to the large packs we've seen the prev yrs.

Sorry for the long read here, just passing along my day so far to anyone that cares to read all this LOL.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday!

Good Morning, George, Perry, Tom, Ray, Cath, & Jeff!

Thanks, everybody. Glad you liked today's pic. Lunch dates with teenagers are hard to come by. As much as they may love you as a parent, they live in a different world of priorities.

Perry, by the time you get finished with all the upgrades and repairs, you'll be about ready to move.

Jeff, that will be an emotional time for Blythe and the family but as you say, Tom will be beside his Phyllis. You deserve the attaboys for your contributions to helping make this a memorable service. As for the turkey pics, I can refer you to my plastic surgeon. He does great camera implants.

Tom, that is a big job from the photos. Glad you're getting some more help.

Ray, "Willie Wonka".

The morning is moving along..........

Dick
