Sunday Morning
Good Sunday Morning everyone.
Coffee's on a timer for a more reasonable hour. No FD breakfast, but there is cereal on the counter, 2% milk in the fridge, and a loaf of bread next to the toaster. Butter and jelly in the fridge, PB next to the bread. There is OJ in the fridge too. Self service, enjoy.
Chilly here, sitting at 43 right now. Clear and a little breezy. Supposed to hit upper 30's tomorrow morning. And highs only in the 60's today. I LIKE IT!!
Off to the FD today. Firehouse chili and hotdogs for dinner tonight. Swing by and grab a bowl. Goes great with football.
Another internet outage at work, only supposed to be 15 minutes, so I'll peek back unless it works out to be another all day event.
Hope y'all have a great day!
Ray

Do you have a day off today Vinnie or are you hard at work yet again? Either way, have a great day!

Good mawnin', Ray, Vinnie, and all of TRT!
Thanks for the coffee and breakfast, Ray. I started the coffee since I'm the third on up. I'll put it in a carafe, and set another pot on timer. How about some veggie chili - I've got a great recipe in the TRT cookbook in M'vlle.
Vinnie - I hope you had good R&R last evening. Your schedule is horrible!
Hi, Patrick! Hi, HHC!
Cool here, too... 40º only warming up to the 50s and a frost warning tonight. Today the library will host the illustrator of the graphic novel version of Fahrenheit 451. Talk about cool
Lots of love, hugs, peace and healing to everyone.

Is that like a Classic Comics, Cath? Bradbury took a little poetic license with the title of that book. It's supposed to represent the temperature at which book paper self-ignites. It's actually 451 Centigrade but Bradbury thought "Fahrenheit" made for a better title.
Butch, glad you're sending the McCoy report from your hotel and not the hospital! Hope you and Rew are having a great time.
Glad you're feeling better, George.
I took this pic of a twisted old cedar on the High Road over Yosemite in 2004. Remarkably, one of my good friends went through there this Summer and photographed the same exact tree out of millions of them out there! His pic is in the link below.

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!

Wow record high temps they are saying today. I got some stuff together for BBQ baby back rib sauce, and it will be time to fire up the smoker after the trail ride.
My painting plan sort of went out the window.
Woke up early, but the rest of the plans for my son's visit and ski/board extravagana are set.
Butch enjoy the heck out of your ride and happy Birthday.

Nice Photo Dick, You and your friend have the same eye.
I remember when digital started getting big and I was worried that it would be the end of film, I am still a fan of the darkroom and film and need to develop some of my old negatives. and then get a nice SLR digital camera.

Thanks, Vince. While I haven't shot a roll of film in years, FishGirl has become an aficionado of old cameras and B&W film. She has my old SLR but actually prefers a couple of antique 1930's/40's cameras shooting 120 film. She picked them up for $20~30 but they were very expensive back in their day. She doesn't do darkroom but I expect she'll get into that someday.
