very much agree here. I do a weekly check by cutting off all power and let the sump fill up. this way I can have peace of mind knowing that nothing has changed and would overfill if the power went out while i'm gone

I always just do that prior to a water change so it's not like a huge ordeal

Uh, why do you check it so much? Does the size and capacity of the sump change with the weather??
