Well my DIY rubbermaid wet/dry sump has been up for a week and every thing is going well. One quick question, In the sump area the top of the water really has no circulation and is forming a layer of slim, is this normal? Everytime I top of the sump it circulates into my tank. My skimmer gets it out but I just wanted to know if this is normal and notbad for the tank. Im going to modify my
HOB skimmer to fit in the sump as soon as I have some free time so Im sure that will help with movement on the top of the water.
