Sump Design Help

Alrighty, I was 3 for 4 cutting the 10 x 12 sheets down 1/4 inch. Tomorrow Mini Tony goes together with a bit of hot glue, then beads of silicon 1.

I bought a used setup and had to let all the stuff simmer in vinegar and water and clean it up in the sump. Now it is time for construction.

That three compartment chamber will work great in the 20L tank, and the guy threw in a PC enclosed light that will be perfect for the refugium third on the end.

The Mag 9.5 will be here Friday, and a little bit will be sent over to the fuge with the rest going to the return nozzles.

I'll put up pics of the whole setup and construction in a day or two.

Well this was my first attempt at cutting glass, aligning it to seal, trying to hot glue left handed with a cheapest available leaky glue gun and sealing with a big silicon glue gun.

Next time will be a lot prettier, but I think it'll be watertight anyway and has the right principles.

Good thing there are doors instead of clear glass on the stand though.

LOL... it looks good... you just described my first time building a sump as well... did you include a bunch of expletives in your work as well like I did

How did you know?? I did a little leak test last night from both sides and it is seaworthy, just not the pertiest thang.

There is lots of room for everything though.
