Sump Animal ID


OK What is this?
its about the size of a quarter the second one is the size of a dime.
it has tentacles.

I was about to syphon my sump when i saw it
it has no color and hard to see sorry for the bad pictures

Glass anemone = bad. There in my sump and they don't seem to hurt anything but you don't want them in your main tank.

siphon it out. scrape it off completely when you do it. hopefully it is the only one you have.

Yes, check closely as they will be on the sump walls and base, on the return pumps etc in your sump and maybe even on the inside of your overflow (which are almost impossible to get to to clean out).

Eww, bad anemones, scrape them and flush them! I don't think pm shrimp will eat these.....only aptasia.....
