Suicidal BTA

Around New Years I had posted that I founf a huge chunk of my new anemone on my filter. Well, at 4:30 AM I heard the impellar chopping something up. The enemone had squeezed between the filter grids and found the Impellar of Death. I'm really bummed and really tired. I got the pieces out of th filter, but my water is cloudy. I'm going to do a 20% change when I get up in about 3 hours. Is there anything in an anemone that will destroy my water? I just got a sea cucumber and I dunno if this will hurt it. Help!

I'm sorry too - - but I don't think it will hurt your water quality and you were very quick on replacing water, so things should be fine IMHO.

Sorry to hear about that,... I would keep an eye on your skimmer and make sure it does it's job getting all that out.

Bummer, had that happen before. Also had one go down the overflow, through the sump and through the return pump into a different tank (2 plumbed together with a common sump) and it is doing good now. Looked like hell for awhile but bounced back.
