Suggestions for a 20L species tank

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for suggestions for a 20L single-species tank with LR and maybe some macros. I was thinking yellow gobies, or some kind of clown goby. I had also seen a 20-30 gallon at an aquarium with about 8 pearly jawfish. I would love to do something like that, but wouldn't so many jawfish in such a small tank end up being a big problem?
What I'm basically looking for is a small peaceful species, but I'm open to other suggestions. I know the options are limited for a 20 gallon.

Thanks,

Pat

Hi Pat,

Hmmm, is it a 20L or a 20g? There's a teeny weeny difference.

I think a 20L is somewhere around 5 gallons? If that's what you've got, how about a shrimp/goby pair? That's what I would like to one day have in my 5g tank.

If it's a 20g - how about seahorses? Domestically bred, of course!

Well, those are my thoughts on what *I* would do. I'm sure you'll get lots of ideas.

Please keep us posted on what you decide to do!

I second the goby/shrimp combo. I saw a randalls goby and pistol shrimp at the lfs and stared forever. Way cool, check it out. Jawfish are pretty neat to. Lots of options, good luck!
