Suggested lighting for a 54 bowed front?

I currently have power compacts, but I know that I cannot support the kind of coral growth that I would like. Any suggestions?

Just need 2x 250w lamps - your choice on the K rating. If you get a 12 -15k bulbs you won't need actinics.

I agree with wanareef. You will want a pair of Metal Halides if you are going to keep SPS. A pair of 250 watters should work great. We have 3 of them on our 135 and get good growth. The general rule of thumb is one bulb per 2 feet of tank.
